  • Intro to Le Sigh

My first foray into the blogosphere. Like many people out in cyberland, I have ideas to blog about. None of them, I’m afraid, are probably original. But before I get into some philosophical tangent on why no original ideas exist anyway, let me just get into what I’m thinking about for this blog. I think I would like a place to show some of my crafty work, which consists mainly of scrapbooking along with a little bookbinding and embroidery. I also wish to improve my sewing and jewelry making skills. I have set goals to use the craft supplies I have been hoarding. I started crafting at a young age. It is in my blood. My mother is a master seamstress, and my grandmother worked for years as a pattern maker. I grew up going to craft fairs and happily spent time wandering craft stores. As far as I can remember, I have always been in the middle of some crafty project, especially those that were started only to be discovered years later and finally abandoned in the trash. Other than crafty pursuits, I’ll blog about other topics that strike my fancy. Some topics I am considering are movie and music reviews, travel essays and advice, or my attempts at being more active. But I’m not promising anything.
